1. Battery Lights — Setup & Troubleshooting

Having issues with your portable Battery Lights? Try these simple steps:

  • Use fresh AA alkaline batteries: Avoid mixing old and new batteries — this is the most common cause of dimming or flickering. Replace all batteries at the same time.
  • Check the battery box switch: Make sure the switch is fully in the ON position. Some models have an automated timer mode — hold the button for 3 seconds to switch between modes.
  • Outdoor use: Keep the battery box sheltered from direct heavy rain. The delicate wire strands are weather-resistant but the battery compartment should stay dry.

2. Usb Lights — Power & Brightness Issues

If your extended-scale Usb Lights appear dim or won't turn on:

  • Use a 5V/1A or higher USB source: Plug into a reliable phone charger, laptop USB port, or power bank. Underpowered ports can cause voltage drops and tip dimming on longer strands.
  • Try a different USB port or charger: If lights are dim, the power source may be insufficient. A standard 5W phone charger works reliably for most lengths.
  • Power bank for outdoor use: Keep your power bank fully charged — a low power bank will cause brightness to drop gradually over time.

3. RGB Lights & Curtain Lights — App Connection

If your mobile device can't find or connect to your interactive RGB Lights or cascading vertical Curtain Lights:

  • Toggle Bluetooth off and back on: This refreshes the wireless connection and clears cached device lists. Stay within 10–15 meters (33–50 feet) of the lights.
  • Allow location permissions: iOS and Android operating systems require location access for secure Bluetooth device discovery. Enable this in your phone's app settings for the LED controller app.
  • Hard reset the lights: Unplug the USB power terminal for 10 seconds, then plug back in. The addressable microchip will restart in pairing mode and should appear in the app immediately.
